An increased number of people are set to take cheap flights to France with the launch of new flights.
Low-cost carrier easyJet has announced that five additional aircraft will be based at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Lyon airports, enabling it to run a total of 13 services to France.
The firm said that this formed part of a long-term growth strategy in the country, which includes up to €600 million of investment between now and 2011.
By this time, easyJet is hoping to operate over 80 routes in and out of France, reflecting the country's continued importance as a holiday destination and investment hotspot.
Andy Harrison, chief executive of easyJet, commented: "Today's announcement is just the first step in our major investment that will see us double our presence in France by 2011."
