France top country for quality of living
15 January 2010
France was named the best country to live in, according to International Living magazine's Quality of Life Index.
Eleanor O'Kane, editor of Living France magazine, said: "The most popular area at the moment is Creuse - department number 23 - in Limousin. This is because despite it being rural, it is easily accessible and the property is reasonably priced."
She added that France offers a great lifestyle that extends beyond the chance to buy "great value property" and this sets it apart from other countries.
