France offers rural appeal for those living abroad
21 October 2009
Those living abroad in France can enjoy a mixture of different attributes that make residing there attractive, it has been stated.
Listing the appeals of the country, director of expat portal Shelter Offshore Rhiannon Davies said Paris is one popular location, but city life is not what some people go to France for.
She observed: "Britons are still seeking out the rural idyll that provides them with the best balance between escapism and finding great weather, a fantastic lifestyle and an affordable cost of living."
As well as these factors, she listed the proximity to the UK, the food and the wine among the other attractions.
