Henman praises living abroad with fractional ownership

Fractional ownership can be a great way to enjoy an overseas lifestyle for part of the year, according to former tennis star Tim Henman.
The former rep British number one stated property in the forests of Provence is the "perfect holiday home".
He added: "It’s a beautiful location, there’s no one overlooking us and the house has kept traditional features such as the old beams, but it also has great contemporary touches."
Such investments provide six weeks of annual usage without any overall responsibility for the upkeep of the property, a flexibility that Mr Henman said is "fantastic".
Unlike with time shares, he noted, those investing in fractional ownership do actually own something.
The best property deals in France tend to be found in areas such as the south, due to its high levels of tourism, head of research at investment firm Property Frontiers Christopher Chadd stated recently.
As well as Langeudoc and the south coast, he suggested Paris is another place that always holds it value well.
