Tourist areas of France offer best property deals
15 October 2009
Those looking for a property investment in France should consider those areas where the tourist rental potential is greatest, it has been suggested.
Head of research at investment firm Property Frontiers Christopher Chadd said the country offered strong prospects in prime areas of Paris and also in the south.
He stated: "In France I would look at all the areas where tourism levels remain high, anywhere on the south coast perhaps in the region of Languedoc."
Mr Chadd noted that the government operates leaseback schemes, which have seven per cent returns guaranteed for 25 years, making such property deals the best ones to go for in the country.
