New leaseback scheme launched in French Alps

De Fremery Finances has launched a new leaseback property investment opportunity in the Risoul resort, which is part of Domaine de la Fôret Blanche, one of the largest ski areas in the southern French Alps.
Marseille international airport is a two-hour drive away, and Montdauphin train station, with direct access to Paris, is just 15 minutes away.
Property prices start from around £53,000 and are subject to a guaranteed net annual rental return of 6.2 to 6.7%.
The French leaseback system could allow people to include it within their UK Self Invested Pension Fund (SIPP).
Since the residential development is not a new-build scheme, investors buying into this project will not be exempt from paying French VAT, which is charged at a rate of 19.6%.
